This isn't a
networking event.

This is a real conversation, over good coffee, with women who are done shrinking, done over-explaining, and finally learning to take up the space they deserve.

Nice Girls & Coffee is a quarterly gathering hosted by licensed therapist Kiara Ivory, LMFT. We get real about the patterns that keep high-achieving women exhausted, resentful, and depleted. We leave with clarity, community, and actual tools.

No fluff. No toxic positivity. Just honest, healing conversation in an intimate room.

01

Boundaries

Why you struggle to say no, and the specific language to start doing it without guilt or over-explanation.

02

Bandwidth

Identifying where your energy is leaking, what you're tolerating that you shouldn't be, and how to reclaim your capacity.

03

Breakthroughs

Leaving with real clarity — not a list of affirmations, but an actual shift in how you see yourself and what you allow.

Who This Is For

This seat has your name on it if…

01

You're the strong one

Everyone leans on you. You handle everything. And you're quietly exhausted from being everyone's anchor while no one checks on you.

02

You say yes when you mean no

Not because you want to. But because the guilt, the fear of conflict, or the need to be liked overrides your own needs every time.

03

You've been "working on yourself"

You've read the books, done the journaling. But you still find yourself in the same patterns. You need more than content. You need community.

04

You're tired of performing

Of being fine. Of managing everyone's emotions. Of making yourself smaller so others feel more comfortable. You want a room where you can just be.

05

You're ready for something real

Not a surface-level motivational talk. An actual, honest conversation with women who get it, facilitated by a therapist who's lived it too.

06

You crave genuine connection

You're craving a small, intentional room. Real women. Real talk. No performance required.

An afternoon that actually changes something

Nice Girls & Coffee is designed to feel like your most honest, insightful conversation. The kind you walk away from feeling lighter and more like yourself.

Welcome & Settle In

Coffee is poured, introductions are made, and the room is set. This isn't a networking event. There's no pitching yourself. Just showing up as you are.

Facilitated Discussion

Kiara opens the conversation on boundaries, bandwidth, and the patterns that got us here. No lecture. A real exchange with clinical insight woven throughout.

Reflection & Sharing

Space to name what you're carrying, identify your pattern, and hear from women doing the exact same work. There's something that shifts when you say it out loud in a room that holds you.

Tools to Take Home

You'll leave with specific language, practical frameworks, and a clearer picture of what needs to change and what your next step is for changing it.

Community & Connection

An invitation into The Recovered Nice Girl community so the work doesn't stop when the coffee does.

She's been in your seat.

Kiara Ivory is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 10+ years of clinical experience and a recovered nice girl herself. She built The Recovered Nice Girl brand because she lived the pattern: the over-giving, the boundary-less years, the exhaustion of being everything for everyone.

She's not here to tell you to just say no. She's here to help you understand why you haven't been able to and what to do about it.

Nice Girls & Coffee is her favorite format: small, honest, and actually transformative.

Women who've been in the room

"

The conversations that we had today. I am full off of the conversations and the connections with all the women we had at the table. It's so crazy how women can connect through their stories and narratives. Thank you Kiara for bringing this together.

"

One word that I would use to describe my experience: freedom. I was able to see myself in all of the women's stories and to connect with them. I felt very seen, heard and felt like a soft place to land.

"

My experience was absolutely amazing! I learned a little bit more about myself today and was able to resonate with everyone's stories. I thank God for putting Kiara in my path and giving her the gift of intentionality and community.

"

I was able to learn the word release. Release the things that were preventing me from unlearning the nice girl and letting go of past hurts.

"

It was a beautiful experience. The importance of community. I feel very seen and heard. I felt comfortable sharing my story and listening to the other women as well. It felt great to connect and get out the house.
